Meet the 556 Hyflow Ratchet Lock, a compact and seriously rugged QD suppressor built for rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (.223 Rem). It’s crafted by Oceania Defence, an Australian specialist in acoustic suppression technology, using Inconel 718 or Grade 5 Titanium through selective laser melting, essentially, the whole thing is 3D-printed in metal. It’s built to handle both semi-auto and select-fire rifles, cutting noise significantly while keeping gas back pressure impressively low. What really sets it apart is the patented Hyflow system.

Instead of pushing all the gas through one channel, it splits the flow into two balanced paths. This split happens right at the blast baffle. So everything is processed in parallel. That means gas clears roughly twice as fast as a standard single-flow suppressor. So your bolt velocity and back pressure stay close to unsuppressed. And you lose none of the sound reduction.

Structurally, it is a one-piece unit with internal reinforcement. So it is built to take a beating. Overall, it shrugs off sustained fire and rough field handling.
