The Ratchet Lock HyFlow G5 is the newest generation of Oceania Defence’s HyFlow suppressor line, distributed exclusively in Switzerland by Para Bellum. Moreover, it represents a substantial improvement in size, flash and sound signature over previous generations. Engineered as a compact, direct-thread 5.56 rifle suppressor, it suits semi-automatic and select-fire rifles. As a result, the Ratchet Lock HyFlow G5 has become a reference for operators who demand a lightweight, low-signature can that holds up round after round.

Patented dual-path HyFlow design

Above all, at the heart of the suppressor sits Oceania Defence’s patented dual-path flow design. First, gas is split at the blast baffle and routed along two paths. Then it moves gas twice as fast as a single-flow suppressor. Consequently, back pressure stays low, a real advantage on direct-impingement rifles, while flash and sound signature are kept to a minimum.

A Ratchet Lock mount that stays put

In addition, the Ratchet Lock HyFlow G5 mounts with a two-turn coarse thread and a ratchet-tooth secondary retainer. Therefore, it locks on fast and will not loosen during use. In addition, a large tapered conical seal prevents carbon locking, so the suppressor comes off cleanly even after extended firing.

Built by 3D metal printing

Oceania Defence prints each unit by Selective Laser Melting (3D metal printing) as a monolithic, non-disassembleable body in 718 Inconel or Titanium 6-4. As a result, the Ratchet Lock HyFlow G5 is exceptionally strong for its weight and has minimal impact on laser and light placement.
